888 Holdings Appoints Anne de Kerckhove

UK-based online gambling giant 888 Holdings has gone from strength to strength in recent months, experiencing growth across many of its key verticals so far this year. Now, as a testament to this positive performance, the firm has made yet another exciting announcement that could help to secure its future growth and success.
The British casino operator has announced the official appointment of a new non-executive director. Anne de Kerckhove will be joining the firm as an expert in the gambling and media industries, currently serving as the CEO of Iron Group, a local digital subscription firm based in Britain.
de Kerckhove’s Previous Experience
de Kerckhove has also previously held the roles of International Managing Director for Inspired Gaming from 2006 to 2009, and also held several executive positions at broadcasting technology specialist Videology Group, both of which have given her invaluable insight into the workings of the gaming industry as a whole.
The new non-executive director is also an investor and a mentor for start-up companies in their early stages, as well as entrepreneurial funds such as CRE, Daphni, and Metail. Further demonstrating her expertise and high status in the business world, she also holds prestigious board positions with three firms: Snowite, WeMoms, and 7digital.
Spokespeople at 888 Holdings have now confirmed that Kerckhove will soon be serving on several of the company’s major divisions, including those dedicated to auditing, gaming compliance, nomination committees, and remuneration.
888 Chairman Announces New Role
In a recent statement revealing the new appointment for 888, Chairman of the firm Brian Mattingley noted that his company is pleased to be welcoming de Kerckhove to its board. Mattingley noted that he is confident that her unique set of skills and extensive experience will surely benefit 888’s growth strategies as it continues to become an international leader in the iGaming space.
888 Holdings is an operator of several major online gaming websites, including 888casino, 888poker, and 888bingo, among others. Founded in 1997 and licensed in Gibraltar, the firm generated an impressive US$520.8 million in revenues in 2016 alone through its unique online casino and betting options.
