888 Holdings & Gaming Realms Partner Up
Posted on by Sean Williamson
It’s two marriages made in heaven: 888 and Gaming Realms, and Slots and Bingo, aka Slingo. 888 Holdings and Gaming Realms have announced the details of a content agreement that will see 888 benefit from exclusive Gaming Realms development projects; specifically the right to more than 15 of the group’s Slingo games, and this is bound to be just the beginning.
Slingo is in essence a combination of mobile slots and Bingo and is a new, instant game sporting concept of both. The idea belongs exclusively to Gaming Realms. The company relies on the development genius at a dedicated development studio that focuses mainly on the creation of Slingo games and content, Slingo Originals.
Slingo Originals has been steadily expanding its portfolio and currently have 15 Slingo games that are ready to go. These are the games that 888 Holdings will now have access to, with more to be developed throughout the year.
The goal in sight is for 888 Holdings to make Slingo games available on their Dragonfish network, which is an Online Bingo driven network. With the incorporation of Slingo, the aim is to diversify the Dragonfish network to include more than just Bingo.
Slingo: Content That Entertains
Slingo Originals has been working non-stop to create new and fresh Slingo content. Content that has been customed designed to be cross-platform compatible. What this means is that the end product, the games, will be accessible from mobile and desktop systems alike.
Games are huge in terms of popular themes and share brand cross-overs with iconic brands such as X-Factor, Deal or No Deal, Rainbow Riches, Britian’s Got Talent and The Price is Right.
Original Slingo titles that will henceforth be utilised and presented by 888 Holdings on their networks include Slingo Riches, Magic Mine, Pay of the Dead, Slingo Reel Extreme, Wheely Wheely Big Win, Bar-X Colossal and Pigasus and Friends. These will all be available to play on the Dragonfish network.
The Dragonfish network of sites consists of in excess of 200 sites and will mean excellent exposure for Slingo games. The partnership between 888 Holdings and Gaming Realms will take on the form of a Revenue Sharing Agreement and the news has already hit business platforms in a big way. Gaming Realms is a London-listed group of companies and shares appreciated by 2.3% shortly after word of the partnership went public.
It would seem that even the business world has recognised the value of the agreement and the two groups are bound to end up very happy with the overall decision.
