A partnership between Big Time Gaming and Scientific Games Corporation has yielded a strengthened position in the iGaming industry. Now, the expansion of the popular Megaways mechanic has been added to the growing Scientific Gaming portfolio.
Megaways is a dynamic random reel modifier system that was developed and implemented by Big Time Gaming. The feature enhances the player experience by producing a different number of symbols across the reels on every single spin. This allows for multiple game scenarios, and for endless payline combination outcomes. This fresh twist on the classic slot setup has seen much praise by both players and iGaming industry professionals.
2 More Slots Set for Megaways Treatment
Scientific Games has already made good use of the mechanic, launching Medusa Megaways on the 24th of April. The Medusa series is one of the companies most popular and the obvious choice for their flagship Megaways venture. Since launching on the digital OGS Network in April, Medusa has become one of the companies top-performing titles of all time. The shifting symbol game is augmented with 5 in-game bonus features that players simply cannot get enough of. This includes a replay feature that allows players to choose a set of free spins or collect an instant prize.
In the coming months, Scientific Games will be releasing more Megaways slots, starting with Raging Rhino in June. Their third release will be Rainbow Riches, which is set to go live in July.
